Hi, Often a lot of problems are attributed falsely to low vitamin d levels. That's not the cause of your tingling sensation. Ideally we need to fully understand what is causing these symptoms. Do consult when feasible

**Specialist Doctor's Response:**  **Re: Persistent Tingling in Hands & Feet (Vitamin D/B12 Related?)**  Dear Patient,  Your **tingling (pins-and-needles sensation)** in palms and feet, despite completing a Vitamin D course, suggests possible **neuropathy**. Here’s a detailed analysis:  --- ### **Potential Causes to Investigate:**  1. **Vitamin B12 Deficiency (Even at 234 pg/mL)**     - **Optimal B12** is >400 pg/mL for nerve health. Your level is borderline.     - **Action**: Methylcobalamin supplements (1500 mcg/day) for 3 months.  2. **Diabetes/Pre-Diabetes**     - **Check**: Fasting glucose, HbA1c (as suggested by other doctors).  3. **Other Deficiencies**     - **Magnesium/Potassium** (Essential for nerve function).  4. **Nerve Compression**     - **Carpal Tunnel Syndrome** (Hands) or **Sciatica** (Feet).  --- ### **Immediate Steps:**  ✔ **Repeat B12 Test** (Active B12/Homocysteine levels).  ✔ **EMG/Nerve Conduction Study** (If tingling worsens).  ✔ **Diet**: Eggs, dairy, lean meat (B12); nuts/seeds (Magnesium).  --- ### **When to Worry?**  ⚠️ **Weakness, burning pain, or balance issues** → Requires urgent evaluation.  --- **For a personalized treatment plan, consult me.**  📱 **WhatsApp**: **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two**
