Tibia and fibula broken near left ankle
Sir....i fell from the stairs and broke my tibia and fibula near my lower  left ankle.....then it has been operated with plates and screws.....i am 31...i regularly used to exercise before.... Can i recover if i take bed rest between 3 to 6 weeks?

Bed rests if it means doing non weight bearing excercise then it shall help.For the blood supply in distal part of leg is less, excercise has an important place.

U can recover, but it just matter of time for 4-6weeks. And u can start exercises after I see ur X-rays, do share ur post op X-rays
