Thyroid is a normal organ (gland) in the body. The common disorder associated is hypothyroidism in which body has tendency to produce thyroid hormones less than normal causing symptoms that includes hair loss, yes. As for "cure", remission does occur sometimes where medicines are not needed anymore but we need to continue getting tests done and usually with age need to medicines come back. Reversion as such is not possible. As for the "other type" of thyroid disorder (hyperthyroidism), things are very different and require whole different discussion. Headache can be due to many reasons. Consult properly please.

Please get your Thyroid profile done and confirm that you have Hypothyroidism and your Thyroid control is satisfactory.  To my knowledge hair fall is not a presenting symptom of Hypothyroidism.
