Hi I have TSH and T3 normal but T4 is 13.60 Can u explain what T4 is.. and why only one one is high?

Thyroid hormone actually represents the combination of the two main hormones that your thyroid gland releases: thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). T3 is the active form of hormone, so whenever body needs thyroid hormone for proper metabolism in the body T4 removes one unit to convert into T3 because T3 is the active form. Here in your case there is slight increase in T4 levels means you can have hyperthyroidism.
