Thyroid level
My father has thyroid from last 2 years now.. we have seen downfall in his tsh level report Initialliy in 2024 his tsh value was in between 5-10 so dr suggested 25 then 50 mg then 09 Nov 2024 : TSH : 15.231 dr prescribed to take 75 mg 2nd april 2025 : TSH : 5.350 dr asked to continue with 75 mg 22nd may 2025 : TSH : 0.514 what we should do? Should we stop 75 mg or start taking 25?

Thyroid replacement hormone is not to stopped abruptly.He could use 50 mcg instead of 75 mcg for next 2 months.Repeat the TSH and free T4 to compare and adjust the dose if needed.

Is he having any symptoms? If no, first repeat tests to see if report was correct. then we plan accordingly

Reduce to 59mcg for two months.  Than repeat test n follow up with MD physician for  maintenance dose before  quite.

Take Usg neck for Thyroid to look for any nodules Because of the abrupt change In the Thyroid level. Consult a General physician with usg report. Now take 50mcg for 2week and then 26 mcg for 4 weeks then repeat the test
