Soaked Basil seeds good for thyroid
I am 38 yrs old with wgt 76 kilos and ht 5 feet 9 inches and i take 25mcg dosage thyronorm as my thyroid levels are little above the range. I was suggested this dosage in my pregnancy in year 2016 only to keep the level within 3 to 4 hence continuing the same when it crossed the range a little more than range (5.4) about 8 months back. I heard about basil seeds health benefits and wanted to intake as it seemed to be natural and safe. However I learnt that people with thyroid should not just take them and need to consult the doctor before they start consuming it. I take 2 teaspoonful of soaked basil seed in lemon water. I also have high cholesterol. Kindly let me know if I can continue taking the basil seed on daily basis of 2 teaspoonful soaked in.
