Hi, I'm a 35-year-old female, 4'11", 57 kg, diagnosed with hypothyroidism 8 years ago.
TSH history:
Last year: 0.82 μIU/mL
This year: 4.558 μIU/mL — significant rise on same dose
Current medication:
75 mcg + half of 25 mcg = ~87.5 mcg daily
Unchanged for 3–4 years
Two doctors, two opinions:
Doctor A: Increase to 100 (1.6mcg /kg basis)
Doctor B: 88 mcg is fine
My calculation:
1.6 mcg × 57 kg = 91.2 mcg ideal dose
Neither 88 nor 100 mcg is exact.
My questions:
TSH jumped from 0.82 4.558 in one year on same dose. Please suggest 88 or 100 mcg.
