Throat infection
My wife has been suffering from throat infection from last two months. Initially She didn't take any treatment. But after one month, she took : * CLAVAM 375 TWICE A DAY for 5 days , but problem persistsd * Then she took AUGMENTIN 625 TWICE A DAY for 5 days. Infection went, But After 4-5 days infection arrived & This time it infected the other side. Now She is taking AZAX-500, ONCE A DAY FROM THE LAST FOUR DAYS. Even after taking fourth tablet, she recovered only 20-30%. Should we increase the dose from once to twice a day? Thanks a lot

Is it self medication or is she being treated by some Doctor ? I suggest she should consult a General Physician who can examine her throat and also get some investigations done so that treatment becomes more Scientific and logical.
