Third time vaccination has to be given
Hello! Doctor
I am worried to take out my son for vaccination who is just 2 and a half months old to the nearby government hospitals or any clinic due the high risk of covid - 19. He has to be given 3rd time vaccination.
Can vaccination be postponed till Corona pandemic?
Will postponing of vaccination bring any health problems?
Please advise us.

You can postpone the 3rd dose by 30 days but not anymore. Efficacy of the previous doses will become less. I have written before also, take complete precautions but let life go on. Don't let Corona take over your life.

As per Indian academy of paediatrics vaccination till 9 months are primary vaccination and these should continue in present scenario also. Otherwise it would put baby in unnecessary risk of other diseases.

Vaccination can be postponed. But that makes child prone to all the vaccine preventable diseases which are much more dangerous than Covid 19. There is no immediate end to Covid . So all parents have to take a stand on Vaccination .

A doctor can be asked to visit home for vaccination. Even a doctor can be asked to see your child as his or her first patient in the clinic so that there is no crowd .

Yes we can postponed the third dose of vaccines.
As covid19 pandemic is progress in theses months
Child can be vaccinated later up to 6 months of age.
No harm till 6 months of age.
