Pain in the back of thighs with or without back pain may be due to nerve compression by a slipped inter vertebral disc. This requires MRI of LS spine for diagnosis. If there is pain on hip movement such as pain when squatting or trying to sit cross-legged, there could be a problem with the hip joint, which may require an MRI as advised in the pic. Pl PM me if required.
