It's been 40 hours since my injury. It was was a minor injury with little blood. It was from a iron pole (attached photo). Will tetanus vaccine be effective now?

Yes tetanus vaccination should be taken even if 40hrs are up, especially if you have not been vaccinated in the last 10 years or even if vaccinated recently but not completed course of 3 dose vaccination.
