Tetanus injection for clean cut
I have been taking TT injections  each year since 2015 (except during the covid period) I had taken the last TT injection on 22 jan 2025...before that, Feb, 2024.... does so many frequent TT vaccines cause any overdose or other adverse effect on my body..? I had a cut today in the morning at 11 am, in my finger from a brand new stainless steel scrubber (used in washing utensils).. cut is not little deep.. ) Do I need to take TT injection?... Kindly advice Regards

Once you take a TT injection, it provides immunity for at least 5 years. So you don't need to take it so frequently.

In my opinion You mentioned that your last TT (Tetanus Toxoid) injection was taken on 22 January 2025, and before that in February 2024. A TT booster generally provides protection for at least 5–10 years. Therefore, since your last dose was less than a year ago, you are already protected and do not need another TT injection for this new injury. Regarding your cut: Since it was caused by a brand-new stainless steel scrubber and the cut is not deep, the risk of tetanus infection is very low. You should simply clean the wound thoroughly with soap and water, apply an antiseptic (like Betadine or Savlon), and keep it covered. Watch for signs of infection such as redness, swelling, pain, pus, or fever. If any of these develop, see a doctor for local wound care or antibiotics. About frequent TT injections: Taking extra TT shots (even a few within a year) does not cause overdose or any serious harm. The most you might experience is mild pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site — nothing systemic or dangerous.
Next Steps
✅ No TT needed now (last dose Jan 2025 is sufficient) ✅ Keep the wound clean and dry ✅ Seek medical attention only if infection signs appear

You don't need to take any vaccine as you're covered by past doses and it's a cut by clean instrument No documented adverse effects of taking more vaccines but why even take it regularly if not you have an Ocd which needs to be treated promptly
Next Steps
Avoid needless vaccinations
