Red, warm, painful swelling appearing days after an injection may be an injection-site infection or abscess, not just a normal reaction. Please get examined in person today; you may need antibiotics or drainage. Do not squeeze, massage or apply irritant creams. Mark the edge of redness and monitor temperature. Go to emergency care if redness spreads quickly, fever is high, red streaks appear or you feel very unwell. Please book a Practo consult with me or visit Synergy Miraj today for assessment.

Redness, warmth, and swelling appearing this many days after an injection, rather than right away, points more toward a local infection at the site than a normal reaction.
Next Steps
Please get this looked at in person today, a possible skin infection at the injection site needs prompt assessment.
Health Tips
Don't press or massage the area, that can spread any infection further.
