Neurobin forte injection
Took neurobin forte injection on my thigh. Have very dull ache in the nearby area. Its been 4 days. What do I do for it to go away. There is no swelling redness hotness or anything. I also currently have pain(dull) originating from the buttocks runs through back of thigh and calf and feet, also on the knees. Felt the same in other leg which was very mild. Felt the same with left arm originating from the armpits all the way down the hands. Its not related to injection right.

Two separate things here. The dull ache at the injection site is ordinary post-injection myositis - Neurobin is thick and irritant; with no swelling, redness or heat there is no abscess, and it settles over 1-2 weeks with warm compresses and gentle movement. The bigger issue is the pain running from the buttock down the back of the thigh, calf and foot, and the same in the arm from the armpit down - that is nerve root pain, not injection related, and both limbs plus an arm points to a cervical/lumbar spine or a B12/peripheral neuropathy problem that needs examination.
Next Steps
Warm compress on the thigh twice a day and keep walking. For the radiating pain get a physician/neuro examination with CBC, HbA1c, vitamin B12, vitamin D, TSH and calcium; spine imaging only if the examination suggests it. Get seen urgently if you develop weakness, numbness in the saddle area or urinary difficulty. Consult me on Practo or at Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Miraj for a proper nerve examination.

Better to see a neurologist to rule out cervical spinal nerve root compression with evaluation of lumbar spine.if you already have vit b12 deficiency that can also be a cause.if there is progressive pain or weakness see a neuro and take mri cervical and lumbar spine

Injection wali jagah par 4 din tak mild dull pain ho sakta hai, especially IM injection ke baad. Lekin dono legs aur ek arm mein bhi similar dull/radiating pain hai, isliye ye symptoms sirf injection ki wajah se hona less likely hai. Nerve irritation/radiculopathy, vitamin deficiency ya other causes ko rule out karna zaroori hai.
Prescription
Tab. Paracetamol 500 mg SOS for pain (maximum 3 g/day)
Warm compress over the injection area 2–3 times/day.
Next Steps
Agar pain continue rahe to physician/neurologist se examination karwayein. CBC, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, blood glucose, electrolytes and thyroid profile may be considered depending on examination.
