How it occurs is a bit difficult to answer here. Suffice it to say it's mostly genetic and there is very little we can do to prevent if IT IS MEANT to come. Other than that the usual ways to prevent cancer include eating healthy, avoid hazardous behaviors like drug, alcohol, smoking addictions, and exposure to radiation, and carcinogens like high heat, radiation and carbon! The symptoms of malignancy is a bit vague and diffuclt to diagnose. When you touch and feel your testicles. If you don't get the tingling sensation that is a important finding. If you feel it's not a proper smooth ovoid structure but has irregularities and bumps over it. You can think of a tumour .. other than that other findings like swollen lymph nodes, loss of weight and loss of appetite all denote advanced cancer! Testicular cancer is unfortunately common in younger age group from 25 to 50 years of age! On average around 35 years . So regular palpation and checkup, good healthy habits and no family history are markers that you may not get testicular cancer. Hope I have clarified to some extent.
