If the pain is coming only after a forceful smash, it could be possible that the technique is wrong. The force for smash should come from the shoulder and not the elbow/wrist. Your elbow/wrist muscles are overworking for your shoulder muscles. You need to visit a physiotherapist to assess your shoulder and elbow. Your physiotherapist will help you reduce the pain around that area and improve your technique.
Next Steps
Visit a good physiotherapist.
