Sensitivity sometimes occurs due to wearing out of teeth due to age . Pain on bitting can also be due to same reason . You need to visit a dentist . Probable treatment plan can be a filling or root canal of the affected tooth . For transient relief you can use any sensitivity toothpaste on that tooth for 2-3mins and then gargle .
