Hello sir, it's mandatory to quit your smoking habit... Because after doing cleaning and polishing, if you smoke again then the stains will become more worse... First control and quit your smoking habit and then do scaling, polishing and teeth whitening and maintain your oral hygiene...

Get scaling of your teeth done. That will remove superficial stains. After that you can opt for bleaching to whiten your teeth which will give good results

You haven't mentioned about how many cigarettes you smoke? Chain smoking is a serious issue, The visible and first signs are staining of teeth. Slowly the nicotine present in tobacco starts damaging the oral mucosa, nasal mucosa and respiratory tissues. In simple terms all the lining tissues that gets in contact with the path transpired by the inhalation and exhalation of cigarette smoke are effected. Cigarette smoking usually causes irreversible damage to the healthy tissues. Tobacco is the main etiological factor in oral cancer and lung cancer.
Next Steps
I agree with  Dr Soumya Suman, that you must check for white patches on your cheek mucosa. If you find them its a serious concern.
Health Tips
Scaling and polishing of teeth is the simple procedure to remove stains of nicotine from teeth. I recommend you stop smoking with immediate effect and start a healthy lifestyle. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

First of all please quit smoking because smoking only causes stains on your teeth ,however, you have no idea what harmful effects it causes to your oral mucosa or the tissue inside your mouth, which is obviously not visible to you initially.
Next Steps
You can go for scaling and polishing.
Health Tips
Any whitish patch visible inside you mouth or on tongue can be the initial stage of cancer. please take care and avoid tobacco in any form.
