Teeth embedded in Gums
The tooth at the corner of my lowerjaw is embedded in my gums. There is not issue as such but it ends up hurting the inner skin while chewing. Should I consider removing it?

Get it extracted out because there is no need of this tooth in chewing and it is not for your aesthetic point of view also Continues irritation on your cheek can lead to some major problem also so in my opinion you should get rid of this tooth

How severe is cheek biting... No need for extraction if it's minor... As removal might hav side effects... I will advise not t go fr extraction if d problem is not dat severe

It's a case of impacted last molar tooth. Get it extracted with proper IOPAR or OPG. Usually the last molars hurt while coming out due to lack of space and causes discomfort and pain.
Next Steps
Visit dentist near to you and get it extracted.
Health Tips
Rinse mouth with salt water twice in a day. Avoid bitting hard from the affected side. Brush gently over there.

Hello It seems that your 3rd molar is trying to erupt.  Because of no space in mouth and the continuous pressure of eruption,  you may experience pain which will be severe but will be showing on and off patterns.  Yes,  3 rd molars are rudimentary,  have no role in chewing.  The best option is to get an xray done for the same and then opt for extraction.  But just in case you don't want to have extraction as of now,  pls make sure that you clean the area properly.  Do warm saline rinses as much as you can and the moment it starts paining, get its irrigation done from a dentist.  It will subside your pain for some time.

The tooth of concern here is half errupted. There is no place in the jaw for it to errupt. Kindly get it removed without a second thought. Third molars are rudimentary ( play no functional role) and are often a matter of complications in patients
Next Steps
visit a nearby dentist... x-ray might be advised.
Health Tips
get it extracted asap. donot delay

Its the wisdom tooth which is trying to come out, if there is no place for it to come out it will result cheek bite which you are experiencing, so consult a dentist get to know the position of the tooth and then decide about removal of the tooth.

Usually, the first cause is most commonly seen in the first to third molar region. Most often the cause is a slight abnormally placed maxillary molar that is impinging on the lower molar and the soft tissues, leading to recurrent cheek bites. The remedy for this will be simple occlusal grinding (the process by which it is determined which structure of the tooth is impinging and grinding it a bit to ensure there is no impingement leading to cheek bites). These cheek bites if unchecked can be problematic - it will serve as the start-up point for infections and pain, long-standing and repeatedly occuring cheek bites have a tendency (slight) for undergoing malignancy and presenting as a form of oral cancer. Apart from occlusal grinding, your dentist may also prescribe you Mouthwashes, a Chlorhexidine-containing topical gel for application .
Next Steps
Apply Hexigel. Mucopain
