Teeth cleaning is done by ultrasonic scalers. The maximum price for the scaling is around 1200 to 2000 depending on the severity of the calculus and the deposits.
Teeth cleaning is advised once every 6 months for maintenance of healthy teeth and gums.
There are no demerits of scaling there is a mild sensitivity which can be experienced by the patient for a minimal duration.

It is any day good to have your teeth cleaned to get rid of germs and the cause for gum problems and tooth decay. Only flip side is the time you'll have to spend at the dentists'. The procedure is fairly safe and doesn't harm your teeth or gums in any way.
