TB disease
Hello, my part time maid's son has been diagnosed with tb which we got to know about today. The illness is there since the last 2 months, she is fine with no symptoms and nothing. But she has been coming to our house for work when were not aware about the same, are we at risk? since the last 2 months we are okay. Also she wears a mask. And her son started having water(not blood cough) since yesterday... can a person catch the infection and show the symptoms later, like 2-3 months or years later?

If you are exposed to tuberculosis, you may be at risk , because it's contagious! Wearing mask reduce risk of Covid as well as TB.  TB contact need screening for infection. It's better to be supervised under Pulmonologist!!!
