Regarding MDR lymph node tb/ contagious?

Hello doc,one of my close friend is suffering from Mdr lymph node tb and treatment is going on.the reports of sputum is negative. is this condition contagious? Shall we take any precautions

Lymph node tb is not a contagious , only if it s in lungs it s contagious
