Hi Doctors,
I have MDR TB and is taking prescribed treatment from a govt TB center for past 8 months of a 18 months regimen .
However for last 1.5 months, i have developed a persistent dry cough again . I want to understand whether this is normal occurrence during long term MDR - TB TREATMENT or is it could be concerning?
Also , i would like to know whether coughing is a mechanism through which TB bacteria are expelled from the body , and hence normal ?
Also had a CT SCAN , indicating active infection please suggest , i have attached the CT SCAN Results
