Targeted therapy
Have done 1 cycle of chemotherapy with oxaliplatin +capacetibine for stage 4 colon cancer .spread to segment 5 of liver and lymphnodes.Biomarker tests shows Nras and kras mutations as wild type and braf v600e mutation as positive. After seeing the reports again continued the same chemo of oxaliplatin+capacetibine as first line of trwatment. Is targeted therapy not work for above gene mutations. If helps when it can be started. Please suggest

Braf V600E mutation positive predicts for lack of response to cetuximab hence it is not adviced by your medical oncologist...discuss with your medical oncologist for better understanding

Can be started as first or from second line treatment onwards.sometime it is clinical decision
