Asked for Female, 43 Years

My mother has pancreatic cancer stage 4. The cancer has been spread to her liver,lungs and skull. She is talking things(nonsense,things which make no sense at all) and she is constantly fighting for things,like she wants a blanket all the time even though she has a high fever due to the Blanket. Why is this happening?
