I'm suffering from tail bone pain from last april. In the beginning it was not that painful which made me to neglect it but as the days are passing its getting harder for me to handle this pain when I sit on the hard surface or even on the chair I started taking support of my both hands to stand as it started paining a lot and now it finally reached to the stage where it pains even when I touch that place

Hi..
It's coccydynia...
Get coccyx lateral view
Avoid:
Sitting on hard surface
Prolong sitting
Do:
Siz bath in hot water
Use cushion and special mattress for coccydynia which is available in market
Take anti inflammatory medication
If pain is not subsiding with these measures you may require local steroid injection

Hello there,,,,,any pain which manifests itself for more than 3 months should be taken seriously....tailbone/coccygeal pain is particularly a deep seated pain and can be quit irritating,,,,however to find out weather it is coccygeal pain or a strain around the structures a proper and detail assessment is necessary.
Next Steps
visit an Orthopadecian/musculoskeletal Physio.
xrays usually are not very informative hence manual assessment is necessary.
Health Tips
1) Avoid prolong sitting
2) Avoid sitting on hard surface
3) use a Round Ring Pillow to sit...or even while driving if you can to ease the preassure
4) Sit in hot water bath does bring temporary relief
5) OTC antiinflammatory medication or prescription medicine of serriatiopeptidase can bring relief.
