From past 3 months or so I have developed pain near and around my tailbone. Pains started with prolonged sitting but now it hurts with pushback position even within few minutes. No experience of exseesive cycling. When standing or walking, no complaints. Straight sitting posture has helped a bit. Will exercise be suffient as I have more bmi( border line more) and gained a couple of kgs in last two months.kindly suggest.

Looks like coxydynia. You can start with exercises to strengthen pelvic floor. Use Cushion ring. If pain is much, you can have antiinflammatory sos. Precautions of sitting have to be followed. Sometimes this pain may take long to go away. Do not get panic. Can go ahead for block injections also.
