No experience of exseesive cycling. When standing or walking, no complaints. Straight sitting posture has helped a bit. Will exercise be suffient as I have more bmi( border line more) and gained a couple of kgs in last two months.kindly suggest.

Hello Looks like coxydynia. You can start with exercises to strengthen pelvic floor. Use Cushion ring. If pain is much, you can have antiinflammatory sos. Precautions of sitting have to be followed. Sometimes this pain may take long to go away. Do not get panic. Can go ahead for block injections also.
Next Steps
kindly consult for detailed resolution of your complaints

Hi - there are a variety of reasons for tail bone pain. Local inflammatory pathologies need to be ruled out. If purely mechanical, then correct exercises and correct posture are the keystones of treatment. There is some role of doughnut cushions in a few cases. Refractory cases respond to local injection blocks
Next Steps
Should consult to chalk out a detailed treatment plan.

Coccydynia. A donut pillow will help. Sit on a cushioned surface rather than a hard surface.
