Swollen jaw joint
I have a bad habit of clicking my jaw, similar to what happens when you crack your knuckles. I did it a bit too much a few days ago and it became a bit painful. Since then it's been swollen near the joint, by my right ear. I can't close my mouth fully. It lessens a little over the course of the day and then re-swells again overnight. How long will this take to heal? Is there something I can do other than take NSAIDs (which don't have much of an effect)?

Seems that you caused a trauma to your joint by your habits, this can often heal by rest over a span of 10-15 days. The fact that you cant close your mouth completely is a something to worry... Considering that symptom, i d suggest your get fully evaluated by a joint specialist to ensure the joint has not dislocated from original position ...
