Swollen gum covering teeth
Hi My left side last teeth at the bottom has a swollen gum which is covering the teeth . I'm not able to eat anything properly due to terrible pain of the swollen gum. Please can you recommend me any medicine to reduce the swollen. Since I cannot get out of my building as there are COVID +ve cases in my building.

Seems to be Pericoronitis associated with wisdom. Tooth . U need to c a dentist , get an x ray done . Meanwhile u can take painkillers and antibiotics under  some dentist prescription and  u can make a videoconsult for d same .

This is a probable case of pericoronitis(impacted wisdom teeth). Without proper picture /clinical evaluation/xray exact diagnosis can't be made.

You most likely have a wisdom tooth which is impacted (stuck in bone due to lack of space), you will have to get it extracted. It will be a small surgery and you will have to take rest for a day or two after surgery. Medicines can be prescribed only after check up, in the meantime you can start with warm saline gargles.
