Swelling under ear and jaw & tooth decay
I have swelling under my left ear near jaw. Pains when pressed hard. And swollen left submandibular lymph node. Also my left tonsil is swollen. And having a pain right from my lower third molar, tonsil, ear and jaw. My wisdom tooth is impacted and there's tooth decay as well. I took augmentin 625 but no improvement. I have attached photo as well. Is this pain because of the teeth. I am a smoker as well.

Augmentin is an antibiotic which will only reduce infection and not pain and inflammation.Your third molar is infected for sure.u should visit dentist soon.take ketorol dt two times a day to relieve pain.Plz maintain oral hygiene.rinse the area with warm water with saline.

This doesn’t look. Like a dental pain from the photograph. There could be many other reasons for pain around the jaw not related to teeth. You need to see a dentist for proper diagnosis before you take antibiotics
