It may cause dental caries in neighbouring teeth,
Crowding by pushing the neighbouring teeth, soarness of jaw, pericoronitis inflammation of gums around the impacted tooth.
The condition you are having is pericoronitis .
Treatment of wisdom tooth is surgical removal of the tooth
And if all is normal then operculectomy can be done that is surgical removal of the gums on the wisdom tooth.
