Swelling in cheek & slight pain in gums
I have slight swelling in the right cheek and slight pain in the gums. What should I do? How to resolve it and what is the cause?

It may be deep dental caries or wisdom tooth in trouble. Visit dentist. Apply ice from outside to the swelling. Do not try any other home remedies.

Differential diagnosis might suggest chronic pain and abscess. Advice X Ray under RVG and treatment plan for root canal therapy / extraction or fibre post depending on the amount of tooth structure left

Hi The swelling and pain may be due to some causes...It may be due to deep cavities in the teeth that may require root canal treatment if the teeth is premolars or first and second molar... Sometimes the swelling may be due to wisdom teeth eruption... Wisdom teeth is one that fails to erupt in its position in thegiven period of time CONSEQUENCE OF WISDOM TEETH **Pericoronitis **Swelling in the jaws **Trismus **Soreness in the jaws **pericoronitis ** cyst formation If the swelling is due to wisdom teeth , you need to go for removal of the teeth..
