8 year year old child has got tooth cavity pain with red swelling gum .. i showed to dentist he advice to do tooth canal and gave antibiotics... my child have allergy to augmentine dds syrup but still doctor gave her augmentine... i dont want to give her augmentine becausecs of her allergy to it ... can i give her taxim 100mg twice a day ? .. will this antibiotic will heal tooth abscess swelling? Pleae advice

Yes you can give taxim 100mg twice a day. If you don’t want to get root canal ..then get extracted . Because it’s primary tooth and the permanent tooth will come around 11 years of age.

Yes surely go ahead with Taxim 100mg twice daily.
But this will only temporarily relieve the symptoms. So the final treatment will the Root Canal treatment with respective tooth and crown placement
