Your blood sugar of 47 is LOW (normal is 70-100). This hypoglycemia after 6 hours fasting could be causing your low energy, bloating and weakness. Your liver enzymes (SGOT-62, SGPT-97) are mildly elevated, suggesting fatty liver which is common in people who exercise regularly and have dietary issues. The good news: Your bilirubin, cholesterol, and other tests are normal. The low sugar combined with liver issues and bloating suggests you may have insulin resistance or reactive hypoglycemia. The sore throat for 6-7 years needs separate attention - could be chronic acid reflux or allergies. This needs proper management with diet changes and possibly medications.
Next Steps
1. See an endocrinologist (hormone doctor) urgently - Your low blood sugar needs investigation 2. Get HbA1c test and Insulin levels (fasting & post meal) to check for insulin resistance 3. Get ultrasound abdomen to confirm fatty liver 4. For immediate low sugar symptoms: Keep glucose tablets or candy with you. Eat every 2-3 hours - don't skip meals 5. Diet changes: Eat complex carbs (brown rice, whole wheat), protein with every meal, avoid refined sugar 6. For sore throat: Try Pantoprazole 40mg before breakfast for 2 weeks (for acid reflux) 7. Stop alcohol completely - it's damaging your liver and causing low sugar 8. Continue gym but eat properly before and after workout
Health Tips
⚠️ WARNING SIGNS - Go to ER if: - Blood sugar drops below 40 or you feel very dizzy/confused - Severe abdominal pain - Yellowing of eyes (jaundice) ✅ Good news: - This is fixable with proper diet and treatment - Your other organs are functioning normally 🚫 MUST AVOID: - Skipping meals (eat every 2-3 hours) - Alcohol and beer - STOP completely - Long fasting periods - Strenuous exercise on empty stomach 💡 Important points: - Carry glucose tablets always when going to gym - Low sugar (47) is dangerous - can cause fainting - Fatty liver is reversible with diet changes - Get ENT check for chronic sore throat

Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician. Your case has been allotted to me. I understand your concern. You are an active person, but your report shows mild liver enzyme elevation (SGOT 62, SGPT 97) and high triglycerides (242), which suggest fatty liver changes or mild liver stress—common in those who consume alcohol occasionally or have irregular meal timing. The low random sugar (47 mg/dL) taken after 6 hours of fasting indicates reactive hypoglycemia, not diabetes, and usually results from prolonged fasting or heavy workouts without proper meals. ✅ Advices Eat small frequent meals every 3–4 hours, especially before and after workouts; don’t skip breakfast. Avoid alcohol, fried food, sugary drinks, and late-night meals for at least 4–6 weeks. Include regular fruits (apple, papaya), salads, oats, eggs, fish, paneer, and curd in your diet. What to Monitor Energy levels, bloating, and fatigue after meals. Repeat LFT, lipid profile, and fasting sugar after 6–8 weeks of dietary correction. Management Start a Liver supplement such as Silymarin 140 mg once daily after lunch for 1 month. Add a B-complex supplement daily to support metabolism. For triglycerides, take Omega-3 fish oil 1000 mg twice daily after meals. Maintain hydration and get 7–8 hours of sleep. When to Consult a Doctor Immediately If yellow eyes, nausea, or right upper abdominal pain develops. If fatigue, low sugar symptoms, or sore throat worsen. If liver enzymes or triglycerides remain elevated despite lifestyle correction. Every patient’s case is unique. For accurate diagnosis, it’s important to discuss your meal timing, alcohol intake, and supplement history in detail. 👉 You can reach out to me directly for this case, and also connect with me in future for any medical consultation. I am available on Practo or on WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven for a one-on-one consultation, where you’ll receive: A personalized diet and liver recovery plan Safe supplement guidance Quick follow-ups to track your improvement Take care, wishing you good health. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician
