Maintain proper neck posture. Sleep straight without pillow. Use cervical collars. Take greeva basti with Mahavishagarbha taila followed by Balamula kseerapaka nadi sweda , Nasya karma with Ksheerabala 101drops. Orally have gokshursdi guggulu, Ekangaveera rasa, Cervilon capsule thrice daily after food. Rasna saptaka kashaya 20ml twice daily with equal quantity of warm water before food.
Namaste..
There is a cure for your problem. You might be having numbness or pain in upper arms as well which is also a symptom of spondylitis. You might require treatments like greeva basti and kutanda sweda along with a few oral medicines which can be prescribed upon proper consultation , depending on your body nature and the intensity of the condition. Consult for any further clarifications.
Thank you.
Yes, **cervical spondylitis** (or cervical spondylosis) *can be managed and significantly improved* with Ayurvedic treatment, especially if caught in early to moderate stages. While Ayurveda may not claim âpermanent cureâ in the allopathic sense, it **can often reverse symptoms and prevent progression** with regular care and lifestyle modifications it can cure also.

### ð Your Symptoms:
* **Neck stiffness**: Likely due to degeneration of cervical discs, muscle spasm, or nerve impingement.
* **Dizziness**: May be due to cervical vertigo (compromised blood flow due to vertebral artery compression in neck), or cervical muscle tightness affecting balance centers.
---
## ð§ââï¸ Ayurvedic View:
In Ayurveda, cervical spondylitis is seen as a **Vata disorder**, especially affecting the **Asthi dhatu (bones)** and **Majja dhatu (nerves)**. Itâs often called **"Greeva Sandhigata Vata"** (vitiation of Vata in the neck joints).
---

* **Nasya (Nasal drops)** with ***Taila or ****Taila â improves neck circulation and reduces dizziness.
---
### 2. ð **Internal Ayurvedic Medicines**
(Should ideally be guided by an Ayurvedic doctor for dosage and duration)

---
### 3. ð² **Diet & Lifestyle for Vata Balance**
* **Avoid**: Cold, dry, fried foods, curd, excess caffeine, skipping meals
* **Include**: Warm, well-cooked meals, ghee, milk with turmeric, sesame oil

### 5. ð¿ Panchakarma Detox (if symptoms are chronic or severe)
Under a certified Ayurvedic doctor:
* **Basti (medicated enema)** â best for Vata disorders
* **Nasya** â for neck and head region
* **Virechana** â if Pitta is involved (inflammation, dizziness)
---
## â³ Can it be cured permanently?
â With consistent Ayurvedic treatment, lifestyle correction, and follow-up:
* Pain and stiffness can **greatly reduce or disappear**
* Dizziness can be **fully resolved**
* Degeneration progression can be **halted or reversed**
ð« But if you stop everything after short relief, it may recur. So **maintenance and regular care** are essential.

Yes definitely. Spondylitis is an inflammatory condition in which one of the main causative reason is a faulty diet. So, to begin with you should switch to HAIP DIET based on the anti inflammatory principles of ayurveda. Additionally, some very basic ayurvedic procedures like mahanarayan tailam pichu can give instant relief coupled with some ayurvedic herbs and vitamin supplements . However, proper consultation is required to give the right formulations.
Next Steps
follow HAIP DIET and start mahanarayan tailam pichu on neck area and consult for proper herbs and supplements prescription
Health Tips
avoid any strainious activity during acute painful state and reduce screen time.
Your age is 38 just confirm whether it's spondylitis or spondylosis. If you are sure that it's spondylitis then check the level of your problem by recent x-ray. If it's early stage just go for exercise and heat therapies and you will be fine and if condition is more problematic then go for proper consultation
Cervical spondylitis (or cervical spondylosis) is a degenerative condition affecting the neck vertebrae, often causing stiffness, neck pain, and symptoms like dizziness. While Ayurveda offers many effective therapies and medicines for symptom management, it currently does not promise a permanent cure, especially in advanced cases where degeneration has set in.
Ayurvedic Approach to Cervical Spondylitis
Ayurveda focuses on:
Reducing inflammation.
Nourishing the affected tissues (dhatus).
Restoring balance, especially to the Vata dosha, which is often aggravated in spondylitis.
Common Ayurvedic Therapies
Greeva Basti: Warm, medicated oil retained on the back of the neck for deep nourishment and pain relief.
Abhyanga: Herbal oil massage to reduce muscle stiffness and improve flexibility.
Bhaspa Sweda: Local steam therapy for pain relief and improved circulation.
Nasya: Instillation of medicated oil in the nostrils, particularly useful when dizziness or headache is present.
Panchakarma: A combination of detoxifying and rejuvenating treatments, including herbal enemas, therapeutic purgation, and oil therapies.
Can Spondylitis Be Cured Permanently?
There is no permanent cure for cervical spondylitis in either Ayurveda or modern medicine, especially if there is significant degeneration. However, Ayurveda can often halt progression, manage symptoms, and even support some regeneration in early stages, providing long-term relief and improved quality of life.
Early and consistent Ayurvedic treatment can help arrest further degeneration and restore mobility.
In severe cases, advanced therapies might be less effective, and modern surgical options could be needed.
Summary
Ayurveda offers a broad range of gentle and effective approaches; herbal medicines, oil therapies, and Panchakarma procedures for cervical spondylitis. These therapies can provide substantial symptom relief and may arrest progression, but a permanent cure is not usually possible once significant degeneration has occurred. Early interventions and regular Ayurvedic care give the best chance for lasting improvement and comfort.
All the Best :-)

Avoid self-medication; professional guidance is essential for safe long-term therapy. Always consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized dosage and combination.

Maintain correct posture and avoid sudden neck movements. Perform gentle neck exercises and yoga postures suitable for cervical health. Make dietary changes such as reducing processed and inflammatory foods, increasing milk, ghee, and easily digestible items.
