Hello, Your symptoms suggest a possible functional gastrointestinal disorder such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or an underlying inflammatory condition like Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Since you experience alternating stool consistency even with a controlled diet, it is important to evaluate possible food intolerances, gut microbiota imbalances, or stress-related triggers. Here are some steps you can take: 1. Dietary Changes: Keep a food diary to identify any potential triggers. Consider a low FODMAP diet under supervision. Increase fiber intake gradually to prevent constipation but avoid excess if it worsens symptoms. 2. Lifestyle Adjustments: Maintain a regular eating schedule. Manage stress through meditation, yoga, or therapy. Ensure adequate sleep and hydration. 3. Medical Evaluation: You may need stool tests, blood work, or endoscopy to rule out infections or chronic conditions. Probiotics or digestive enzymes might be helpful, but personalized advice is crucial.
