  4. Suffering from fever. Say very soon!

Suffering from fever
My son got fever AND light cold yesterday then i consult a doctor...he ask these medicines those i fill in...But fever not away from my son...after medicines still 100 or 102 fever... Tests= CBC WIDEL URINE ROUTINE These test done and all they are normal I am worried what i do please say very soon

Mostly viral infection.keep same medication and do temp charting.consult ur paediatrician if doesn't subside after 5 days.

Hi, In my opinion your son is suffering from viral fever.Viral illnesses are self limiting and takes around 3 to 5 days to settle down. Widal test is recommended after 7 days as antibodies dosent build up so early. If child is active and eating well in between the episodes of fever just wait and watch for two more days.
