Occult blood is occult. Occult means hidden. It is different from visible blood. Even the causes for the two are different.

Yes,if you are getting occult blood in your stool ,it could be due to any reason like dysentry/piles/fissure or any other possible condition. Consult a gastroenterologist for further management. If you are having difficulty in passing stools,or constipation,please use syrup duphalac 15ml at bed time . Avoid non veg Please rake sitz bath 15 min every day. Take plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables
