Stomach cancer n ascitis
My maternal uncle is suffering from stomach cancer from last few months ...At first before few yrs back he was diagnosed gastric ulcer. ..n from dat time he does not took it so seriously n suddenly last February he was suffering from acidity weight loss. .. blood in stool..abdominal pain. . Severe vomiting..nausea n many more ... still he cannot understand what was d problem ...He faced two wrong biopsy report which show it was negative. ..actually the report should b positive ...dis wrong report made d cancer stage more advance with ascitis ..den at last it was diagnosed with cancer n he went to bangalore for treatment. ..where they give good hope n chemo givento him started working positively. ..bt as they referred him to kolkata after two months completing his 6th chemo again he was suffering severely with ascitis colouerd red n only little liquid intake. ..n doctors gave up hope....Plz Plz Plz save him this is my last hope to get a positive anwers n treatments from u...Plz s

I am sorry, but he is siffering from metastatic gastric cancer, failed on chemotherapy. There may not be many options. Has your treating doctor suggested you herceptin in case you can afford it

Carcinoma stomach with malignant ascites has very poor prognosis. if he is fit, only option is second line chemotherapy
