It's unlikely muscle cramps. Need to do thorough gastro intestinal evaluation including Endoscopy, colonoscopy, small bowel evaluation by capsule endoscopy or CT enterography and other investigations. If every evaluation comes normal in absence of pancreatitis and gall bladder stone, it's definitely IBS. IBS takes long time to diagnose and difficult to treat condition as the cause is unknown. Stress relief, meditation, good sleep, dietary changes -all these life style modification can help along with a few medicines.
