My doctor has prescribed me lebatens 100 for one month but generally if you start BP medicine it has to be taken life long but then why in my case it's only 30 days?

There must be a valid reason for your doctor to prescribe this particular tablet , and to see the response.
This is given to control very high blood pressure
You have mentioned that you are on eltroxin and you have PCOD .
You could always ask your doctor the reason for starting labetolol

So how can a Doctor give a prescription for 20 years or 50 years or a 100 years ?
Secondly if the Doctor is competent you will improve with his treatment and your requirement of medicine may change .
How can a Doctor know that you will need the same medicine in the same dose for ever?

Depends on bp level and its not a necessity that you've to take it all your life. However, I wanna know whether you're pregnant or not? Lebatens is the ideal drug for hypertension in pregnancy... Would like to know details of your case including bp levels
