Sprain at ankle
Have ankle sprain for a week. Consulted a doctor last week just after accident. Had xray done. Doctor said it is a sprain and let me go with pain killer, bandage and some advice to rest. But pain has not reduced much even after a week.

If that is the case then get an MRI scan done of the ankle. This will show any missed minor fractures or ligament injuries which x-rays can't show
