Hello Your history is incomplete . Tell me since how long u are having this issue? What aggrevates your pain and hat relieves it. Moroever is the pain radiating ?? Any histry of micro injury?? Have u taken any medications before? Any past history? Still get xrays done of c spine in ap and lat views

This could be due to poor posture, try to maintain ergonomic posture while working on a laptop, observe if pain is resolved... try and do stretching exercises once in two hours, if not relieved consult an orthopaedic surgeon.

Pain in the neck and upper back could me spondylitis or could just be a muscle spasm due to poor posture
Next Steps
Get an xray of the cervical spine ap and lateral view done take myospas twice a day after food for 3 days meanwhile if no allergies
