Sore throat since a week
Suffering from sore throat since a week. It used to cure after 2 days by taking Azithromycine tablet. But now, from a week I am using, it is still Not going away. Please suggest some good medicine, I am unable to bear this pain this long. Thanks.

Sir first its wrong to take antibiotics (azithromycin) by uaself and that too not for the adequate duration as u said 2 days, as it can lead to antibiotics resistance as happened in your case thats why its not working now. It s request to all to never consume antibiotics by uaself, the antibiotics resistance that will develop will lead us all in a very dangerous situation in near future. You should get a consultation with doctor. meanwhile you can gargle with betadine 1tsf diluted in half glass of water three times a day. Suck on tablet pirox dt when u feel pain in throat.

Change the Antibiotic. Take Amoxyclav 625 1 tab twice daily after food for 7 days Antiallergic medicine Povidine iodine gurgle
