Sore throat
My throat is sore since morning.  Have a mild cough.  I feel a little fever in my body.  Had cold water yesterday.  What should be done at such a time .Which medicine should be taken, so as to get quick relief.

First step is you start saline water gargling and avoid cold water and cool fluids. Give your voice some rest. If you get high fever u can take antipyretics from your nearest consulting physician. Antibiotics should be last resort

1. Kindly do warm salt water gargling thrice daily. 2. Can take Tablet. Paracetamol 650 mg thrice daily for today If symptoms won’t improve can consult doctor. Regards

You are getting too worried a little too soon. It is less than 24 hours that you have developed a sore throat. You don't have a fever. You have not tried even home remedies or OTC Medicine like Vicks Action 500 or hot soup. Please take one of the cold remedies available OTC, have some hot soup once a day or, Vit C 500 mg, take Paracetamol if you have a fever, consult a General Physician in your area.
