I have problem of social anxiety disorder related hyperhidrosis ( excessive sweating ) in social situations from many years...my bp and pulse also rises when anxious in public places ...so i take opinion from psychatrist firstly he prescribed pexep CR 12.5 twice a day which i take it for 2 months but still no improvement seen then he told me to take depsonil... so is it the right decision or not to start depsonil according to my problem bcoz i am just 25 yrs old ..is there any side effects of this or not ...i am scared i need ur guidance ..plz help me 🙏

It's crucial, since we humans are a social species, to have person to person interaction, if only to be reminded that we are part of a bigger world outside our own day to day existence. The best advice I can give to face a social phobia is to set small realistic goals to achieve. Once met build from there; stretching with each new level. It all boils down to how important and seriously each one of us is to ourselves, and that, in of itself is ultimately how we overcome fears by assigning commitment a level of importance. First of all , 12.5 is a small dose & it's possible that it didn't work because you didn't take appropriate dose . Secondly any psychiatric medicine takes 4-6 weeks to start showing full effects and in your case you stopped after 8 weeks . You can take depsonil however you need to work on your anxiety because that's the root cause of this. Restart medicine & also consider cbt sessions which will help you coping with negative thoughts
