Social anxiety and panic attacks
Are tricyclic antidepressants like imipramime are more effective than paroxetine? bcoz before that i was taking parpxetine upto 37.5 but still having panic attacks and anxiety issue but now online doctor told me to stop paroxetine and start imipramime ( deposil ) ..so is it ryt decision ?

It depends on each individual how they respond, anyways u didn't find improvement with paroxetine,so ur dr might changed it don't worry

Hello,
The usual practice is to start treatment with SSRIs for anxiety. In case someone is not responding well to SSRIs... We can think of trying tricycle antidepressants.
