As there is fresh fracture of L4 vertebra, it might be causing pain.. She has been already diagnosed and started with the treatment. The medications mentioned in the prescription are good enough. She will also require to take complete bed rest for 6 to 8 weeks. As she is old age, she may also require proper bed care like frequent turning in bed (air bed may also be used to avoid bed sore)
Next Steps
If pain persists even after taking these medicines, she may be given Tab. Ultracet..twice daily as per pain along with rabeprazole..
Health Tips
Take proper care of the patient.. there are many other issues associated with old age, which need to be taken care of..
