Nothing will happen. This research is only 60 years old. The Human Race has been flourishing since a few Billion Years, without the woman knowing that she is supposed to sleep on the side. Still they have been having babies.

Don't panic sleep the way you want it is mentioned that preferably you should be sleeping in the left lateral position because in that position the blood flow to the baby is more and the baby gains more weight but that does not mean that you have to freak out if you slept straight
