Sleeplessness,loss in appetite
My mother has not been sleeping properly for the last 20 days. She is feeling tremors inside her body like palpitations. She has lost her appetite. Feeling weak. Lack of sleep has caused her to take sleeping pills as prescribed by our doctor  but this is not a permanent solution. All blood reports are normal. ECG, Liver functions everything is in order. It's been 10 days she is on those pills but no changes can be seen. We are confused what to do next as the diagnosis still  hasn't been done properly of what is going on with her. Is this a common problem? Or this a symptom of something else. She is not stressing or thinking about any particular thing which is disturbing her mental health. She was extremely healthy and active before she got fever almost a month back and then the above started to happen. Please suggest whom to consult or what to do in this regard. Thanks in advance

It can be an aftereffect of the fever. Make sure her motions are free so that the toxins move out of the body. Ayurvedic (Giloy tablet/juice & Ashwagandhadi lehyam) should be helpful.

Hi  have gone through your concern. As seen primarily nothing specific but sometimes 1 unconsciously we are thinking something and hence can lead to sleeplessness 2.If your mother is sleeping during the day then sleeplessness at night is common. I think homoeopathy will help your mother also it is safe and will not create any dependency. Thanks and regards.

Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). ) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't Overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever ur mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is ur traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style 7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, Carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 9.
